EXHIBIT J

Same as prior EXHIBIT I for same bearer but for a different item. 5th Cavalry must have issued a Certificate for each individual souvenir (a saber this time with the same date March 20, 1946).

EXHIBIT K

This Certificate had a hard life. It is very fragile. Headquarters 2nd Marines, 2nd Division FMF, in the Field. Cpl Virgin is a local Florida Marine veteran. For several years he came to the local gun shows and always brought me one item from his souvenirs and several war stories. He told me they typed the statement, "This man was in the Pacific area before VJ-Day", so he would be entitled to bring war souvenirs home. Also they used the 2nd Marine Division memorandum N. 265-45 for 'War Trophies". Virgin understood that if he had not been in the Pacific, before VJ- Day, he would not have been allowed to bring the saber home.

EXHIBIT L

This is one of my favorite Certificates. The USMCR used a very short form with the "in-country" location at the top (TIENSEN, CHINA). It does not have a Unit designation, but is Dated Sept 1946. Note pistol with serial number included. The pistol is a T- 94 and came with a "in-country" made shoulder holster. It is the only T-94 shoulder holster that I've found. The certificate was jammed into the extra mag pouch along with the mag.
